yep, I apparently took almost 2 months off from the blog. But I am back and ready to share! Of course we have been having a "duper" busy summer. "duper" is what Racyn insists on saying instead of super! Funny kid!
Today to escape the heat wave after the rain we went to the movie theatre to see "Zookeeper". I was surprised that the kids seemed to stay entertained. It was a better movie than I thought it would be. After a stop at Diary Queen we came home and got ready to go swimming! Thank you Kristi for inviting us over!
Here we are having a BLAST:

This weekend we did a little of this and a little of that!
Here's our weekend in pictures:
Here's our weekend in pictures:
Thursday night it started with 1 little baby robin, by Friday we were watching the momma bird feed two babies, in this picture you can see the mom bird has some food in her beak.
Here we have "Rickie Weeks" and "Corey Hart" playing baseball. These buddies love playing Brewer baseball together!
Ta-da! I have a shower, and a toilet and a sink/vanity... However, no water yet!
Bubbles!
And I enjoyed watching my flowering crab apple tree bloom this weekend. It is the most beautiful tree in our yard and I love watching it bloom every year!
Hope you all stay safe during the crazy weather that is happening right now!

Mother's Day
Had a great mother's day... Rob and the kids were so excited Saturday night that I got some gifts from them last night instead of waiting for today!
Rob got me a personalized glass cutting board and lasagna pan! So excited to have those! yay! Malorie gave me a shadow box with a rainbow colored and she wrote I love you mom and know you love me mom. how sweet is that? Racyn gave me a bookmark and he picked out an orange dress shirt for me that was from him and Malorie. What a sweet family! I was so surprised by their gifts.
This morning I woke up to both kids coming into our bed and waking me up with hugs and telling me happy mother's day. What a couple of love bugs! We then headed off to church where I got 2 roses during children's time (thanks mom). After church we were off to mom and dad's to celebrate the day and dad's 50th birthday!
After we got home I laid down and ended up dozing off for a little quick cat nap before we headed out to Lake Dexter (totally my idea)!! Rob and I both caught 2 fish! So cool, and I know no one will believe this but I actually took both of my fish off the hooks and tossed them back in! yucko! Then Rob made me put another worm on, double yucko! But I persevered! and had a great day! Here are some pics of our fishing adventure! Hope you enjoy and hope you had a great weekend!

Easter Magic
We had a great Easter. We started out by heading to church for a little breakfast made by Rob and the church's youth group. After a wonderful church service we headed home so the kids could FINALLY find their eggs and Easter baskets. When we got home we had a surprise note from the Easter Bunny... he hid everything outside! Here are the kids before and during the HUNT!
we are ready to go find the eggs mom, quit taking pictures!
An egg!!!
Malorie found her basket under the slide... she got the movie "Tangled" and got some books and candy.Look mom, I got a baseball game! WOW!
After the fun of finding everything we headed out to Uncle Scott's for the Schooley family Easter. We stayed there for over 3 hours. Rob and I had fun visiting while the kids couldn't get enough of playing outside with all their cousins.
After the Schooley event we headed over to my parents for the Bravener Family get together... all the grand kids had a blast finding Easter eggs and baskets hidden outside there too! Some of the eggs even had money in them!
We were truly blessed on Easter to be able to spend time with such great families.

Holding Rainbows and babies!
This weekend we got to meet the newest member of our family, Joshua Schooley. Before we left to go see him Racyn asked me, "momma is Joshua awesome?" I told him yes, I bet he is awesome. When we got to see him that night Joshua was wearing a little sleeper outfit that said "awesome little guy". How awesome was that! I got a good laugh out of that! Here he is:
Saturday started some storms in the area, which meant not much sleep for me since Malorie woke up at midnight and HAD to sleep with Rob and I!
Sunday night after supper it started raining (it only lasted for 5 minutes) just long enough for the sun to come out and we got to see the sign of God's Promise! Malorie and I decided to have a little fun with it!
Hope everyone has a great and blessed week!
