Thankful for having a house!

Well, where do I start?? Malorie was on Spring Break this week so the kids spent Tuesday night with grammie and papa. We started this adventure at the Holiday Inn swimming pool. Kids had a blast. Then Racyn and Malorie, Brandon and Ashley got to stay over.

Wednesday they headed over to Stevens Point to the Children's Museum there! Looks like they had a lot of fun! Of course, I was at work... Here a couple of the things the kids got to do:

Thursday ended with a little bowling. Racyn got to skip preschool and hang out again with Grammie, Papa, Brandon, Ashley, Malorie and me (for a little on my lunch break). I have to tell ya I bowled one of the best games of my life today! How funny is that!

After work today I went to Curves to do the Curves Circuit with Zumba workout! OK, let me break this down for you. I burn at least 400 calories in a half hour! Tonight I did it for an hour! yep! How awesome is that?? 800 calories! After I left I wanted to come right home since I had a roast in the roaster all day! Yep 225 degrees for 12 hours! All I can say is if I had let it cook for 13 hours I probably wouldn't have a house anymore. My roast was burnt to a crisp. My potatoes looked like charcoal. My house was filled with smoke! I don't think I should be allowed to use kitchen appliances anymore! This isn't my first incident! Just glad I got home when I did. So I settled for Popcorn and Pop tarts for supper!

Hope you all have a great night?

Has any one else had any kitchen appliance mishaps??
Mine include tonight, and starting 2 fires in the kitchen both of which were put out by my hero husband... only casualty was my deep fryer and almost a pizza oven!

Remembering CC

As some of you know Friday night our dog, CC was hit by a car and did not make it. Wow. Even now it just really sucks. It was horrible. And now that a day has passed I really think it is starting to hit even harder. I am missing the sound of her tags on her collar jingling together. I am missing her laying on my feet in bed at night, and the way she annoyed me until I would get up and let her out! Darn dog. But I am glad she is not suffering anymore because no animal or person should have to be in the pain she was in. I don't know what else to say except I am still shocked that this even happened!
Here are some pics to remember her with! Hope you enjoy.

It was just another full moon to me

So Saturday was a fun day! It started out with a little cleaning (as many of you know this is NOT my thing). But it felt nice to get the kitchen picked up and Malorie finished cleaning her room (alleluia)!! After that was done Malorie and I headed over to my mom's where we met her and Tanya and went on a little road trip to Mosinee. Our cousins Kaley and Kelsey were ice skating in the Mosinee Silver Blades Ice Show. We are so proud of those two girls! They are so good. Did I mention they always medal in the Badger Games and go on to compete in the national level? This year they are off to San Diego to compete. Here are some pics of those two:

The next event for the day was this "super moon" we were supposed to have. Let's just say after hours of waiting for the clouds to disappear so I could see this thing I was "super" disappointed. I did not see anything other than a full moon. Having said that.... it did NOT stop me from taking some pictures! So here a little super moon shots! I had fun playing with the settings on my camera giving me a few different shots! Awesome!

Where Have I Been?

I know! I have become consumed with scrap booking! It started out innocently enough with taking a night every other month. Then I went to a weekend scrap booking event. It was all over from there. Now I spend every minute the kids are in bed (and some when they aren't) doing scrap book pages! I am in love with my new hobby. And I just found a jewel on the creative memories site. Click here for FREE EMBELLISHMENTS! uh, hello!?? How come I didn't know about this??
I am so excited about all the pages I have done! As of right this minute I have created over 52 pages for a scrap book album! Here's a few for you to check out:
